There’s nothing more promising than the artistic element of Kanye West‘s new video, “Bound 2”.
Making its first appearance on the Ellen show, the video first opens with a soaring eagle, then a few horses galloping in slow motion, before Kanye appears alone on screen.
It cuts to him riding a motorcycle against what appears to be images of Utah’s Monument Valley. Just when you’re about to criticize the cheesy graphics, the screen immediately shows a topless Kim Kardashian looking sensual as she gyrates on her fiance’s motorbike.
Kim did in fact use this video as a opportunity to show off her curvy physique since the birth of her first child, Nori. The video however, did have some awkward moments. While the couple made out in the video, the lyrics of the song that accompanied their romantic scenes were about threesomes, casual sex and a relationship that won’t last.
On Ellen, Kanye credited fashion photographer Nick Knight for the video. He also revealed that he and Kim had been practicing for the video even before she was pregnant. Kanye explained, “It was just awesome. I think that Kim is awesome and she just deserved like awesome moment like that.”
But while we laugh and mock Kanye for his public declarations of love, he feels like he just can’t seem to express it enough.
“I don’t know if I can express it enough. It’s almost like people make fun of me for like how in love I actually am it just sounds… I just think people are just so cool with their approach to things, you know. And also I’m trying to avoid the jump up on the couch moment, but yeah it’s just, it’s good.”
He praised Kim, “She’s an important person that when I was at my lowest moments I could get on the phone with her. She would make me feel like, you know, I was here for a reason and I was, you know, I had something to say and just support me thought that.”
