A Form One student was caught having sex with a friend of hers whom she met online a month ago. Her 7-year old sister told their uncle after spotting the boy in her room in Terengganu at around 2pm on Friday.
Setiu OCPD Deputy Supt Ab Rahman Raja Mohamed said the 15-year old student went to the girl’s house around midnight. “The young couple had sex twice before the incident was exposed,” he added. He also mentioned that the teenager tried to run away but was caught by her uncle who sent the boy to the police station after the incident.
We understand that teenagers are at a constant battle with changes of their emotions as well as their body. According to Guttmacher Institute, about 46 percent of all 15 to 19-year olds have had sex at least once in the U.S. and the figures are growing rapidly to date. Hence, we suggest that all parents out there should discuss this matter over a casual conversation with their children to avoid underage sexual activities.
