In case you haven’t noticed, amidst all the online “meme”s, a relatively new trend has hit our interwebs. Originally dubbed “the lying down game”, it has picked up its pace and invaded the Internet as its new game name, “planking”.
What is with that?
First invented by Tom Green in 1994, “planking” is now widely popular in various parts of the world, planking requires a person (or more) to lie face down with his or her hands touching the side of the body. Then, they are to get themselves photographed before posting their picture up on the internet. Each “player” compete to find the most unusual and original location. Better yet if the said location is as public as possible.
Weird or what?
“Planking” it now so widespread that not only has it infected search engines on the web, it has also rapidly become a YouTube phenomenon! So much so that people of all ages, races, and even gender are working hard at getting the “best plank” out on the Internet! Check out these women who have picked it up and dare we say, are quite impressive:
Would you do it?
