Mother Monster, Lady Gaga recently hosted a big-budget party along with artist, Jeff Koons to launch her new “Artpop” album and ARTPOP app at the Brooklyn Navy Yard in New York City. She pulled off the multi-million dollar launch party for her Little Monsters, complete with priceless artworks, free food trucks, open bars and a full-stage show.
The ARTPOP app is a musical and visual system that combines music, art, fashion and technology for Gaga’s new interactive community, called “The Auras”. This app is a platform for Little Monsters to create, share and become part of her “Aura Universe”. The ARTPOP app also allows users to create multimedia GIFs through visuals by using its 3D modelling tool.
Before the event, she also hosted a press conference whereby she unveiled the Beta version of her flying dress named, ‘VOLANTIS’ which can be hovered about three feet off the ground. Check out the video below to get a glimpse of the dress:
For the event, the stage was decorated with Gaga’s naked sculpture designed by Jeff Koons as seen in her “Artpop” album cover. She started the show with her song, “Aura” and walked to another stage across the venue. She then performed her second song, “Venus” while her Little Monsters were dressed in a wide variety of costumes and were cheering after her performances.
The full performance of artRAVE on VEVO is not available in our country, but don’t worry Little Monsters, because we’ve found another copy of the video on YouTube. Enjoy!
