Benefit Cosmetics has recently hosted PUSH & POP, which is a themed party to celebrate the launch of its new shop-in-shop boutique at Sephora Starhill Gallery. The soiree was unlike any other Benefit events, as the brand had chosen to forgo its cutesy image to reveal its more provocative side. Also a tribute to Benefit’s iconic They’re Real! mascara, the party brought the sexy spirit of Honest Leah to life with some cheeky entertainment.
PUSH & POP was hosted by Benefit’s Global Beauty Authority, Annie Ford Danielson as well as the daughter of Co-Founder Jean Ford. The party was also attended by notable guests such as Benefit South East Asia’s General Manager Ms Karen Raghavan, Sephora’s VIP White Card members and Malaysian celebrities such as Serena C, Sazzy Falak, Vanessa Chong, Pamela Chong and Patricia Sue-Lin Knudsen.
Upon arrival, guests were greeted at the photo op station where they were asked to sign the human guestbook – in the form of topless male models. They then were led to the Confession Wall where they spilled their dirtiest secrets in a bid to win a prize.
The evening was started with a lavish champagne salute as men clad in military uniform launched a stream of celebratory bubbly, followed by a sexy striptease. They then slipped in tubes of They’re Real! mascara to the bands of their underwear for the guests to withdraw. Other activities that were running throughout the night included various games and an illusionist to add magic to the night.
This Benefit boutique in Sephora features all the highlights in other stand-alone stores worldwide, including The Benefit Brow Bar and Pretty Room, which offers top notch services to remove unsightly hair from various parts of the face. Aside from that, the boutique also offers a range of other services such as full makeup application and quick makeup fixes to prettify customers.
Benefit has also taken it up a notch with “Beauty Bash”, whereby customers are invited to hold private parties and special moments to enjoy bubbles, bites, brows and beauty with Benefit.
