1. Newspaper Lampshade
If you like giving your living space a shabby-chic feel, a DIY newspaper lampshade is all you need. To make your own, just get your hands on an old lampshade and use Modge Podge glue (available in Art Friend, Gardens Mid Valley)! Paint a layer of Modge Podge over the lampshade and then paste old news paper over it. Let it dry, and then paint another layer of Modge Podge over it to seal.

2. Newspaper Nails
If you want to get into the nail art trend, but don’t seem to have steady hands to draw on your nails, just use some old newspaper to revamp it! All you have to do is soak your manicured nails in water, and then wrap a piece of newspaper cutting over the nail for a few seconds. For a full tutorial, click here.

5. Old Newspaper Stool
If you’ve got too many old newspapers stacked up in your house, breathe new life into them by turning them into your own piece of furniture! Just grab about 50 to 60 sets of newspaper and tightly roll them up into thin long cylinders, and wrap a piece of tape to close it up. Then, lay 2 cylinders together and glue them up with Modge Podge. Repeat with the remaining cylinders until they form a circle. Before standing the newspaper stoof up, wrap a belt around the top and then the bottom of it so it stands. Spread the Modge Podge all over the stool and let it dry.
