Fans of Nando’s who are residing in Kota Kinabalu can now enjoy its delicious offerings, such as the all-time favourite Afro-Portugese PERi-PERi flame-grilled chicken at 1Borneo, Sabah. This newly opened food chain in Sabah represents the 50th restaurant in our country, and is also the first Nando’s outlet in East Malaysia.
The chain of Nando’s casual dining restaurants opened its first Malaysian doors in the year 1998 in Bangsar and recently celebrated its 15th anniversary here.
Mac Chung Lynn, the Group CEO of Nando’s Malaysia and Singapore said, “Due to the success of the brand in Peninsula Malaysia, we feel that it will also be well received in East Malaysia. We have been receiving a lot of feedback from our customers and followers on the Nando’s Facebook and Twitter, requesting for us to open in East Malaysia. This is one of the factors which encouraged us to expand and we feel that now is the best time to enter the East Malaysia market.”
