David Beckham may be great on the football field, but not quite behind the wheel. The football star and his 14-year-old son were recently involved in a collision with another vehicle while driving out of their home. The incident took place just outside their Beverly Hills home.
Neighbours heard a loud impact noise when the 38-year-old’s US $75,000 Range Rover Sport crash into a white SUV, driven by a woman. A witness nearby said he was close by when he heard the loud noise: “It sounded really serious,” he said. “The front fender was dragging on the ground”.
The police were called to the scene where Beckham’s car bumper was dislodged and was on the road. The female driver of the SUV has not been identified, but her car suffered a dent and some damages on its front right section.
This isn’t the first time that the former England captain and his son Brooklyn were involved in a car crash. In 2011, David and Brooklyn were caught in a multiple pile-up in Los Angeles. Fortunately, they escaped the incident unhurt.
