1. Your eyebrows are too fierce
Eyebrows will often grow fast and furious. So, when you don’t have the time to keep them in place when you go out, tame them with some clear mascara. But if you don’t have any or have run out, Vaseline will do just as good!
2. There’s rouge on your teeth
Lipstick on teeth will never flatter, no matter how good-looking you can be. To keep the lipstick off your pearly whites, stick your forefinger in your mouth and pull it out to remove lipstick that was applied to the inside of your lips. To keep the color sealed, use a thin coat of Vaseline over your lips.
3. When eyeshadow gets on your cheeks
You’re so close to getting your make-up right after a long time, and boom – you realise you have glitter eyeshadow sitting on your cheeks! To overcome this problem, place a thin square of tissue on your cheek, and hold it there when you apply your eyeshadow.
4. Your cat-eye is all wrong
Before you grab a cotton swab and dip it make-up remover, use your nail to gently skewer it the way you want it to. If it has already dried, dip the cotton swab in water instead and adjust it patiently. If there are any eyeliner marks left, just use your concealer and pat around the area!
5. There’s too much blusher on your face
Applying blusher can be tricky! You have to know where to put it, how much to apply and know the right shade! But if you’ve applied a little too much, there’s always a way to conquer it! Diffusing the color from cream brush is easy – just use a sponge and keep pressing it on your cheeks to transfer the color over. If you’ve used powder blush, dust loose translucent powder over it and blend gently to diffuse the color.
6. Your baby hair just won’t settle down
Baby hair can be ruthless! Control them over with the same trick we use to tame wild eyebrows. Clear mascara helps, but if you don’t want your hair to look crusty, use an old mascara brush and light brush over your baby hair.
