Timberland was introduced in the year 1973, and the yellow, waterproof boot was inspired by the harsh New England elements. The 40th anniversary of this iconic boot is marked with their new collection, The Earthkeepers Heritage. This fall, Timberland combines its heritage roots with a contemporary twist to come up with a style that both men and women crave for today. Premium and eco-conscious materials were used to design this collection with thoughtful details, quality construction and timeless style.
This collection showcases footwear inspired by the past and crafted for today. It comes with Earthkeepers Heritage LTD 6” boot and Earthkeepers Rugged LT Plain Toe Boot Waterproof for men. Timberland also finds its ways to feminine fit with the new Earthkeepers Trenton Waterproof Tall Boot as well as the Earthkeepers Mosley.
Amazingly, this collection comes with wardrobe staples too! The Earthkeepers Tenon Bomber leather jacket as well as the 5GG Donegal/Lambswool Full Zip sweater are available for men this fall. Women can also rock the rugged look with the Lightweight Biker Jacket and Earthkeepers 2 in 1 Parka.
Timberland is also having a workshop at Centre Court, Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur, from 9th October till 13th October 2013, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Local artisan, KONTAK! joins Timberland at the workshop to create eco-friendly stage and display areas. The runway stage and display showcases are built using wooden pallets that created that rustic ambiance. Art Misfits will be helping Timberland to personalise customers’ boots with inspired art pieces permanently etched onto the Yellow Boots using a technique called Pyrography.
