The BMW 5 series gets a bold and elegant facelift as it is further enhanced with new design elements and the latest technologies for an even more outstanding dynamic performance, increased efficiency, premium ride comfort and maximum connectivity. The introduction of these brand new luxurious BMW 5 Series variants took place at the Swiss Watch Gallery (SWG) Art of Time, Malaysia’s most prestigious exhibition for luxury time pieces.
“In less than a year after its launch in 2010, the BMW 5 series became the global market leader in its segment. This success was not a surprise to us at BMW as the BMW 5 Series is the most technologically advanced sedan in its class. Its technology offering, courtesy of BMW EfficientDynamics and BMW ConnectedDrive has set a very high benchmark in the segment. Now, we are breaking this benchmark to set an even higher standard for a premium business sedan and we are offering this in the new BMW 5 Series which we are introducing today,” said Dr. Gerhard Pils, Chief Executive Officer of BMW Group Malaysia.
The new BMW 5 Series features a few modifications on its exterior and interior, making it more stylish, captivating and sport-centric at the same time. Besides its latest classy yet boldly fierce design, the exterior offers distinctively new air inlets, side indicators as well as adaptive LED headlights and fog lights across all variants on the front apron. All variants also come with new tail lights which further solidify the world-renown BMW trademark appearance.
For the interior, the new BMW 5 Series give off an improved superior impression and increase in its functionality. In addition to the greater storage capacity in all storage compartments and cup holders in the centre console, all variants also feature generous amounts of space and comfortable seating with exquisite materials paired with excellent workmanship to contribute to its world-class ambience personality.
