Pestle & Mortar – one of Malaysia’s top street wear label has finally opened its doors in Bangsar! Best known for their signature t-shirts, the homegrown clothing label is only getting bigger and better with a mix of thriving ideas and pounding them up into one collective idea.
Pestle & Mortar was the brainchild of three guys – Arthur, Arnold and Hugh. As the business grew, they added on another member, Mark as part of the team to manage the business side of brand. Today, Pestle & Mortar products can be found in six outlets in the Klang Valley!
The store in Bangsar was launched a couple of weeks back and is stocked with a full range of street wear and accessories, branded sneakers and collaborative pieces. You’ll find classic sneaker brands like Nike and Vans, including accessories from Daniel Wellington Watches, Aark Collective, and Crap Eyewear are sold in the new store.
Pestle & Mortar is not all about men’s wear but they also cater to women too! Their latest collection for women for Fall 2013 cheekily comes with the theme “Buah”, inspired by the tropical fruits found in Malaysia! The ‘Buah’ Ladies Shorts are absolutely cute and culturally-relevant, so they’re definitely in our list of must-buys!
Price-wise, products in Pestle & Mortar range from RM5 to RM200. Pretty flexible if you’re on a budget!
