The world never looks kindly upon sexual abuse, especially on children. It’s even worse when you hear that a man of the law is responsible for committing such cruel acts on a young innocent victim.
In George Town, Corporal Aziri Sahid, 54, was found guilty for inserting his finger into a 6-year-old girl’s private parts to years ago at the police barracks. He will face 100 months in prison.
The mother of the victim, Zarina Mohd Noor, said she confronted the policeman, and he pleaded that the parents do not lodge a police report.
“I was very angry when I heard it. When I confronted Mohd Aziri he asked me and my daughter for forgiveness and pleaded with us not to make a police report.
“It was then that he said he would pull the trigger on himself if I persisted in taking the case to the police,” said Zarina.
