It’s time for Gangnam Style and the Gwiyomi to retire because there’s another dance craze that’s take the world by storm, and it’s special because it can only be done by women – The Curdle Cutter.
The Shanghaiist describes the Curdle Cutter as “Gangnam Style meets twerking, with breasts”, and we can see why. The dance is no different from a mediocre cheerleading routine, but it’s only special because it involves wearing a really good push-up and cup size-increasing bra. Denim shorts optional.
The image shows a Taiwanese girl group called Sun Lady partaking in this chesty frolic in their video. They call it, “the curdle cutter”. Maybe it has to do with eliminating hard-ons? Cutting curdled milk ala breast exercise? Who knows?
The dance originated from Thai group 321 Kamikaze, specifically in their song Splash Out. But let’s face – we’ve all seen this move somewhere, long before Rihanna made the scene. We’re not surprised if Madonna did it first.
We can debate all we want about the Curdle Cutter’s origins, but we cannot forget just what it embraces – breasts.
