Glee’s Lea Michele got us whipping out our handkerchiefs when she made a heart-rending speech about her costar and boyfriend Cory Monteith as she was honored at the recent Teen Choice Awards. Cory died last month from an alcohol and heroin overdose.
“I just wanted to be here today to personally thank all of you and tell everyone out there how much all of your love and support has meant to me over these very past difficult few weeks,” she says as she tries to hold her tears back.
It’s still hard to get over Cory’s death, but it looks like Lea is moving on quite healthily. It’s so good to see that the Glee members are really much like a family as they are on TV.
