At first glance, I thought these shoes comes with some kind of connectivity that can hook up to these two social networking websites and post various updates like the distance you’ve walked and even some quirky updates like “It’s a torture to walk through this rain” but instead, it’s just a Twitter and Facebook branded shoe that does nothing except makes you a free advertisement board wherever you go. Apart from using the same color-theme as the respective social networks (light-blue for Twitter and dark-blue for Facebook, the shoes also feature the logo while the Facebook version comes with a Facebook slogan. These shoes are designed by Gerry Mckay for Adidas; cute, but it’ll be nicer if you could at least customize it with some kind of personal message or your private social network URL on the shoe itself.
