Just over the weekend, dairy trade giants Fonterra announced that some of their products may contain a bacteria called Clostridium Botulinum. The products were sold to Australia, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, including Malaysia.
Fonterra Malaysia then informs Malaysians that its products in Malaysia, namely Anmum, Anlene and Anchor/Fernleaf, were spared. However, Fonterra later informed Danone Dumex Malaysia that one of their ingredients had a potential quality issues. Although none of the products tested or sold indicate contamination, they have taken to make a precautionary recall on specific products.
