The High Court has decided that Alvin and Vivian have been allowed to be freed on bail at RM30,000 each. Judge Datuk Mohd Azman Husin revised the sessions court decision and set the bail at RM10,000 on each of the three charges the sex bloggers are facing. [Source]
However, the judge imposed four conditions:
1. They must no longer upload materials or have access to smart network devices to upload religious and racially sensitive material.
2. They must surrender their passports to the court
3. The couple must report to the nearest police station on the first of every month
4. They are not allowed to upload any provocative comments, articles or photos on the internet. [Source]
Only July 18, Alvin and Vivian were charged with three counts of mocking Muslims in the holy month of Ramadhan. The three charges under the Sedition Act, the Film Censorship Act and the Penal Code were brought against them for a controversial Facebook post related to Ramadhan and for various sex videos that they uploaded last year.
