Selangor acting police chief, Datuk A. Thaiveegan says that individuals who spread photos of the pupils eating in the dressing room of the school toilet can be investigated under the Sedition Act 1948.
“People will not hesitate to take action agains those who disseminate seditious information about the school on the social networking sites,” he said. Thaiveegan believes such action could potentially create provocative and racial issues. [Source]

Deputy Education Minister (II) P.Kamalanathan spoke his mind about the where the non-Muslim students of Sekolah Kebangsaan Sg Buloh were allegedly forced to eat in the changing room during the fasting month.
He told sources: “It is totally unacceptable for the school to make such a decision regardless if there is only 12 non-Muslim students (in the school).”
“I have already informed the Ministry at 11 this morning and action will be taken against the person who came out with the decision.”
Kamalanathan said he was informed that the canteen operator is decided by the school management. “They need to appoint a caretaker canteen operator during fasting month if the operator takes a break in Ramadan”.
“Even if there is no canteen operator, they should have not shifted the non-Muslim students to eat in the place where it is not hygienic or clean at all.”

According to sources, the students were requested to eat in the dressing room (not bathroom) as the canteen is currently under renovation.
With that said, would it be too much to ask if a classroom or a hall was spared for the kids to have their recess in a more decent venue? A dressing room still feels very inhumane for children to eat in.

Parents of non-Muslim kids attending Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Sri Pristana are outraged after finding pictures of their children allegedly taking their recess break in the washroom. The reason given was to not ‘disturb’ the Muslim kids who were fasting.
The images has since gone viral on Facebook, with both Muslim and non-Muslim netizens enraged over the pictures.
According to sources, one of the children say that although the bathroom is clean, it’s still smelly and uncomfortable to eat in. This is utterly unhygienic, and educators should clearly know better!
The principle of the school is supposedly unavailable for comment. [Source]
