Aren’t you bored hanging out at those same old places, every weekend? Well, if you feel like we do, maybe it’s time you dust-off your straw mat and bring out that wicker basket – because it’s time for a picnic! Imagine the feel of lush grass underfoot as a gentle breeze caresses your skin on a beautifully clear sunny day. Invigorating, liberating and definitely romantic, a picnic is just what the doctor ordered to get you out of that workweek funk.
We’ve found some places perfect for a quick daytime sojourn when the weekend finally arrives.

Possessing a beautiful lake that’s popular with both joggers and picnickers alike, this park is a favourite amongst the kite-flying crowd, and is located on the way to Selayang via the MRR2.
3. Gabai Waterfall
You’ll need to head to the small village of Ulu Langat, to find the oasis of Gabai Falls. Besides its natural beauty, the grounds are well maintained, complete with a proper car park and bridges leading to the falls.
