Baci, cozy Italian cafe nestled in a trendy neighborhood of Ara Damansara, is reaching to orphans and the underprivileged children through a charity initiative known as ‘Cake It Forward’. The program aims to deliver a joyous and memorable Hari Raya experience to orphaned children.
Situated in Citta Mall, Baci is most commonly known for its freshly-brewed coffee, casual conversations and light-hearted meals; however their fine selection of cakes has now become the highlight for the month of July as Cake It Forward is centered on sweet delectables.
To show your support for Cake It Forward, Baci patrons can simply contribute – atop their total bill, one slice of cake will be purchased in advance and this goes towards a pool; cakes purchased in advance throughout the month, starting from 10th July till 10th August 2013 will be collected, and eventually delivered to House of Joy in Puchong and Telaga Kasi Nur Muhammad in Kota Damansara at the beginning of Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Patron participation is opened to those who wish to dine-in or take-away, and can advance numerous cake slices throughout the time of this charity drive.
Patrons who participate in the Cake It Forward initiative will ultimately be given updates with notes and pictures of the children enjoying their cakes, as a show of appreciate for their heartfelt contributions. Alongside the cake charity drive, you can also enjoy free-flow desserts, coffee and tea from 6.30pm till 9pm daily at RM9.90 with a purchase of an entree for a whole month starting from the 9th July 2013 onwards.
