We were all shocked when Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. We know how it went, we know what happened after, and that incident became an Internet meme. All on its own terms!
Kanye grabbed the microphone of Taylor’s hand when she was handed the ‘Best Video’ award over Beyonce because he felt she didn’t deserve it.
Following that incident, a little tape leaked over the internet where Kanye rants about how he didn’t get to perform his songs, his commitment to his art, and his then-recent passing of his mother.
