UPDATE
It’s just like pulling a Chance card at Monopoly and it says, “Go to Jail. Go directly to Jail. Do not pass GO. Do not collect $200.”
Infamous Malaysian sex bloggers Alvin and Vivian (Alvivi) were at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court today where they were charged under three laws. The three charges under the Sedition Act, the Film Censorship Act and the Penal Code were brought against them for a controversial Facebook post related to Ramadhan and for various sex videos that they uploaded last year.
Better known as ‘Alvivi’, the couple shot to virtual fame after posting nude and sexual pictures on their blog, ‘Sumptious Erotica’. They’ve managed to maintain their spot in the limelight by continuing to publicize self-shot videos on sexual topics and the recent General Election.
They might have regretted their actions when they stood in court today and were denied bail after being charged. Alvin is currently held at Sungai Buloh Prison while Vivian will be at Kajang Prison until date of trial.

Kuala Lumpur Criminal Investigation Department head, Datuk Ku Chin Wah said Alvin and Vivian will be charged in the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court at Jalan Duta today.
Unfortunately, he has declined to expose what the charges are to be made against the couple.
“Through a short messaging service sent by a lawyer, the couple will surrender themselves at Bukit Aman and we also asked them to come to Dang Wangi, but until evening, they did not appear,” said the source.
According to sources, they said they would not head over to the Kuala Lumpur police headquarters solely based on reports in the media.
On Tuesday, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said the police had opened an investigation paper on the couple under section 298A of the Penal Code.
Recently, the couple issued an apology in the form of a video: “We are asking forgiveness from all Malaysians for this incident during the fasting month which is holy to the Muslims. We did it as a joke. We had no intention to trivialize or to insult Islam or to incite racial conflict for that matter. We truly regret and apologize to all parties affected”.
