How much will you pay for a blanket? Well, for me, I’m willing to pay up to a hundred Ringgit to get a nice big comfortable quilt (because they use so much material and cotton and are very soft and cuddly). On poor desperate days I’ll resort to our local night markets to get something very cheap or wait for a huge sale. The Hello Kitty blanket you see above, that comes with its very own certificate, costs a super-duper-ultra-whopping USD$2,000! Sanrio has recently teamed up with Lochcarron to produce this most expensive blanket that measures at 120 x 180cm that is made in Scotland by Lochcarron. It’s not like a typical Hello Kitty product that features the cat all over but instead, Hello Kitty only appears at the corner of the blanket. On the bright side, it’s made 100% of cashmere so the extravagant price is not only justified by the brand. No thanks for me, I think my quilt is doing just fine in keeping me warm, our country is hot enough that we won’t need something to keep us warm when we go out.
