One of the world’s most popular online community YouTube, has launched a Ramadhan Channel with five Malaysian content providers.
Sajith Sivanandan, Google Malaysia Country Manager said: “Millions of Malaysians come to YouTube via multiple screens every month to access news, information and entertainment and it’s great that we’re working with a partner like Nestle to curate a special channel for Ramadhan and Hari Raya”.
There will be eight YouTube channels with a total of 280 unique videos of content for Malaysians were contributed by 5 major local distributions, which are Animonsta Studios, Astro, Homegrown Pictures, Trymasak and Suria Records.
YouTube Malaysia was launched in March 2012 which followed by the YouTube Partner Programme last December.
