Supermodel Jourdan Dunnis is no stranger to rejection in the fashion world. “I’m normally told I’m cancelled because I’m colored”, she said.
But the 22-year-old supermodel of Jamaican heritage was cut from Christian Dior’s haute couture fashion show in Paris because of her chest size. The 5’10 beauty is a 32A, and apparently it wasn’t the right look for the French fashion house.

While she was told that her body was the issue, since Raf Simons took over Dior, it has been criticize for using almost exclusively white models. In an interview with The Edit in March, Jourdan said she recalled being turned away from model casting because the client “didn’t want any more black girls”. She also revealed the time a white make-up artist said she wouldn’t work on her face because she was black. [Source]
Fortunately, Jourdan is fairly positive about the decision, as she took to Twitter to share her thoughts:
A lot of flesh was on display at the Dior catwalk show, which took place in front of a star-studded crowd at the military museum, Hotel Des Invalides. The models were seen strutting down the catwalk in sheer gowns that exposed their breasts and underwear.
