The birth of a child is a beautiful occasion to mark, especially if you can get it on tape.

Greek doctor, Dr Aris Tsigris published a photo of a newborn on his Facebook page on March 12 after delivering the baby through a C-section in Athens.

Dr Tsigris said the baby did not even realize it had been born yet. The photo below shows an extremely rare moment in birth, where the baby is still encased inside the amniotic sac after it has been removed from the mother’s body.

Dr Tsigris describe the moment as “ultra rare” and was left breathless by the sight of the newborn. The amniotic sac breaks when the baby is ready to birthed, hence the term “water breaking”. (Source)
