The Miss Hong Kong Pageant is the largest beauty pageant competition in Hong Kong since 1976, annually organised by Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB). Most of the TVB actresses are basically selected from this competition like Charmaine Sheh, Kate Tsui, Sonija Kwok, Myolie Wu and more. This year’s audition last week and attracted hundreds of Hong Kong local beauties to join this competition as usual, themed “Beyond Imagination”.
The “White Queens”
“Branded Auntie” and “Village Lady”
We found these pictures from a Hong Kong paparazzi news Facebook page and they seem like making fun of some of the selected pageants. They compiled several contestants that wore white, labelling them as “White Queens”. One of them was dubbed the “Village version of Jeanette Leung” as she didn’t apply any make-up while donning a ponytail. Another was called the “Branded Auntie” as she looked like she was fully-dressed and accessorized in branded goods.
Another three were labelled as “Super Sisters”: one of them with yellow teeth; another one looks pale buy applying red hot lips; and lastly rounded-face Bonnie Xian.
Guess this is what they called “Beyond Imagination”
