Charice made headlines years back when her amazing pipes were featured on an episode of the Oprah Winfrey Show. There were numerous rumors about the singer’s drastic image change where she ditched her wholesome teen starlet look for something more edgier.
The 21-year-old YouTube star recently announced she is a lesbian in an interview with ‘The Buzz’. “Yes, I am a tomboy,” she said.
“Now, I feel free. I can go out of the house without fear and be certain that I’m not stepping on anybody’s toes”.
“To those you can accept me, thank you very much,” she said tearfully.

Celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton was pleased with her decision to come out, tweeting, “You are opening doors and hearts and minds with your bravery and honesty. Leading by example! BIG HUG!”
Charice also knew in her heart that her decision to come out might also upset some of her fans.
“To my fans who I know are disappointed – I know some of you will turn your back on me too – sorry. You know I am sincere. From the bottom of my heart, sorry”.
It’s a beautiful and graceful thing for this young star to do, and she has nothing but our support.
