Beauty oils may not be the newest kid on the list of beauty trends, but it still hasn’t been able to flaunt its full potential. The first thing that might go through your mind right now is “why would I use a beauty oil when I’m already suffering from oily skin”? It’s like we’re telling you to forget every skincare philosophy the world’s ever taught you. But the truth is, a drop of beauty oil each day is your cure to your complexion issues. It’s just a matter of finding the right one.

Facial oils are made up of a variety of botanical oils and it can range from curing skin irritation, acne, and even heal those scars from those oil blemishes. Facial oils are usually natural and they hardly contain any artificial fragrances or colorants, which helps them penetrate quickly into your skin, giving you a smooth velvet touch. And the miracle is that these oils are perfect for all skin types – from oily, acne-prone skin, to dry complexions.

The fact that it won’t cause breakouts despite being an oil is that the oil has molecular weight and non-comodogenic properties, hence they’re able to absorb into the epidermal layers of the skin. In short, it’s like dry oil. It absorbs into the skin so you’re not left with such a greasy surface. Facial oils have been compared to serums, and while they do somehow carry the same function, oils are quite possibly more effective as they don’t contain as much chemicals. But because of its literally oily disposition, it’s still not as accepted by many. (Source)

Rose hip oil is one of the best, most affordable and effective beauty oils in the market. Best known for its anti-aging properties, rose hip oil can also sooth irritated skin, give moisture to dry skin and even help you out with those pesky breakouts.

How do I apply facial oil on my skin?
Simply get a tiny drop of oil on the palm of your hand, rub your hands together and gently press the oil on your face and neck. Massage your skin gently so that they oil can penetrate into your skin quickly, and avoid the under-eye area.

Will my skin feel oily or greasy?
The condition of your skin will depends on your skin type and the type of oil you’re using. The time it takes to absorb into your skin can depend on your skin as well. Drinking plenty of water will actually aid in the production of oil on your skin, so that might also play a part.

Will using the oils cause breakouts?
Facial oils are believed to not cause any breakouts, but once again, that varies according to your skin type too. But if you’re worried about breakouts, don’t apply then oily areas or parts of your skin that’s prone to breakouts.
