Lady GaGa was rumoured to have passed away due to a hoax ‘R.I.P Lady GaGa’ page circulating Facebook on Sunday. The page attracted almost a million likes and condolences from hundreds of fans worldwide. Whilst some fans expressed sadness and grief, others were skeptical from the go, stating how the death had not been publicised on the news etc.
While some say how this has shown her popularity across the globe, others found it distressing and are expressing anger. There have been a lot of fake celebrity death pages over the past few months. GaGa’s reps confirmed yesterday that the singer is “still alive and well” and added to “stop believing what you see on the internet.”
