23-year-old Candice Glover has been named the new American Idol, becoming the first female singer to win the title since 2007!
Candice successfully won the hearts of America, defeating country vocalist Kree Harrison with her powerful and soulful voice. Third time’s a charm for this talented vocalist as she appeared in two earlier season of the show, but she took the title home by making songs like Somewhere from the musical West Side Story, and the jazz tune You’ve Changed all her own.
