Earlier in the week, we shared word about the “the Ex”, a zombie-shooting target that resembles a woman, particularly a man’s ex-girlfriend.

The manufacturer, Zombie Industries has officially continued the production of the female mannequins, including the blondes and brunettes.

Zombie Industries CEO Roger Davis told sources that they will discontinue selling “the Ex”, an will no longer be available after Monday, May 13. He says that they plan to relaunch the range with a greener, zombie-like flesh tone.

Amazon has also pulled the product from all vendors on its website.

UltraViolet, a community that aims to fight sexism and works to expand women’s rights said “the Ex” turns violence against women into a joke, promoting the idea that “men should want to kill their ex-wives or ex-girlfriend”.
