Ever had one of those days where your heels were killing you because you had to walk half your way around Kuala Lumpur due to the lack of parking space and you parked further because you’re afraid that if you miss a turn you’re going to need another 15 minutes to turn back? Here’s a vending machine that we all need, especially in the middle of busy streets that have no public transport, the Afterheels, a flats vending machine. Designed by Michael Stead, a British inventor, the vending machine stores small shoes made using natural material, a waterproof outer layer that is biodegradable. They also come with soft protective flock-lined insole made from recyclable item so if you don’t wish to hold these when you reach your destination where you have to put your heels back on, you can throw it away and the environment wouldn’t be harmed. Awesome design, I think we need these in shopping malls too though I’m sure that wouldn’t be allowed, shoe shops would be the first to complain.
