San Francisco Coffee teamed up with HISTORY for the Ultimate History Quiz Asia – SF League that took place at Publika, Solaris Dutamas.
For the past few months, Malaysians have been hooked testing their general knowledge to get rewarded with great prizes, but it’s come down to a brain-to-brain challenge at the Grand Finale with a list of celebrities like JD, Dilly Dilly & Ezra from MIX fm, Kuah Jenhan, Poon Chih Ho, Dr.Jason, Jay Menon, Will Quah, Lez Ann, Pop Shuvit’s JD, Michelle Lee, Reem Shahwa, Peter Davis, DJ Fuzz and Josiah Mizukami. The celebrities formed their own teams to play of cash that was donated to the charities of their choice.
The participating teams were divided into two categories – Celebrities and Consumers. The Celebrity team that earned their victory was the Malaysian Association of Chinese Comedians (MACC), made up of Kuah Jenhan, Poon Chic Ho and Dr. Jason – playing for the Pink Triangle Foundation (PT Foundation).
The Consumer Team that led the show was Triumphant, led by Yasley Hani Wai Mat Yassin.
Celebrities who played for charities also won the charities a great sum of money. The Pink Triangle took home RM5500 while Yayasan Chow Kit earned RM1000. IQ70+, PAWS Animal Welfare Society an Agathians Shelter took home RM500 each.
