Authorities in charge of finding the people responsible for the Boston Marathon bombings has been caught. The second suspect was taken into custody, putting an end to the massive manhunt in the city of Boston.

19-year-old Dzhokar Tsarnaev escaped an overnight shootout with police that left his older brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev (another man wanted in the bombings) dead.

Tsarnaev was in serious condition and is being treated at Boston’s Beth Israel Deaconness Medical Center. He was cornered on Friday night as he was hiding in a boat in the backyard of Watertown, a suburb of Boston.

The police were alerted to his whereabouts by a man who went outside after authorities ordered residents to stay inside during the manhunt. The man saw blood on a boat. He lifted the tarp only to find a bleeding Tsarnaev covered in blood.

The Boston police alerted the community that the suspect was caught through Twitter. Meanwhile, the city of Boston rejoiced and residents of Watertown took to the streets to cheer the news that the suspect has been arrested.

This is clearly something to celebrate. Great job to the Boston police unit!
