If there’s one thing we love, it’s seeing Angelina Jolie shine in her films. In 2014, get set to see Angelina Jolie turn into your worst nightmare as the dark villain in Sleeping Beauty, Maleficent.
Titled Maleficent, the movie is based on the story of Sleeping Beauty, but from the perspective of the villainous Maleficent, played by Angelina Jolie. Maleficent is supposedly a fairy desperately seeking acceptance and hopes of the be the queen of all fairies. However, her desires may just get in her way and lead her into a path of darkness.
Filming for the movie began in June 2012, and it’s set to hit theatres in March 2014. It’s a long wait, but we’ll definitely wait 11 months to see Angelina in all her villainous glory.
Rick Baker, seven-time Academy Award winner was responsible for the special makeup effects for the film. The movie stars the luminescent Elle Fanning as Princess Aurora and even Vivienne Jolie-Pitt (Angelina and Brad’s daughter) as Young Princess Aurora.
