Ever wanted to try something wild and exciting in terms of makeup? Whether it’s a costume party, Halloween, photoshoot or just for fun, we’ve come up with a really cool tutorial on how to do leopard print make up on your face!
Monisha of Kuhlcher (an online store selling amazing accessories!) was nice enough to be our model for this tutorial.
We started off with just doing basic make up on her face, such as primer, concealor and foundation. In this tutorial, all you need is eyeshadow and eyeliner (preferably liquid because it’s easier to handle).
Test the colour of eyeshadow you have picked on your skin, to ensure that it does not blend with your skintone and also stands out. We decided to use the actual colour palatte of a leopard’s fur, so we opted for earth tones that would make it look more natural.
Use an eyeshadow brush and draw random spots along the side of your face. You can use more than one colour depending on what your preference is. Draw random “C”U”O”X”Y” shapes where you want the spots to be. It doesn’t have to be perfect. When you are done, it’ll look something like the picture above.
Draw spotchy messy lines around the spots with gaps in between ( see picture for reference!) using a liquid eyeliner. You can also use a pencil eyeliner if you want to smudge it and make it darker and with a different texture. Also, draw some lines and spots around the eyeshadow spots to give it a more realistic look.
Once you’ve done that, add some higlights around the spots (we used gold) to add accents to the whole designs. Once that’s complete, you can either jazz up your whole look by wearing something with leopard print or you can go casual (like Monisha did) with the statement makeup!
