What happens when a restaurant operator known for excellent European food and wines decides to collaborate with a pioneer in food delivery service? The latest concept by Gastrodome (of Labodega and Pressroom fame) and Room Service Deliveries is called Wine Talk, which not only sends your favourite wines to your doorstep, but also aims to open up your horizons to discover more about the world of wines through an additional service called ‘Wine Journey’.
How does Wine Journey work?
Once you’ve registered on Wine Talk, you have the option to sign up for ‘Wine Journey’, and that’s where the exciting experience begins. If you’re an adventurous wine lover, you can opt to try new cases of wines that are hand-picked by Wine Talk’s sommelier, David Stephan. For those who’d like to stick to their favourite wines, you can order from a complete list of almost 400 labels. Whether white, red, rose or a combination of all three, each mixed case will come with a short history and tasting notes of the wines, and also food pairing combination for dinner nights with your loved ones.

If you’re afraid of the costs – don’t be! We think Wine Journey is not only affordable, but is the perfect service for a special night with a group of friends – you don’t have to drive out and be confused about which wines you should get, and what dishes you should serve with them. Prices for a mixed case starts at RM428 for six bottles, and goes up to RM1,648 for 12 bottles of the ‘Luxury Collection’ case.
