It all started with British reality television show, The Only Way is Essex, and now the women of Britain are more interested than ever than having the perfect skin for their nether regions.
The vajacial appears to be the answer to ingrown hairs and red bumps that appear after a bikini wax. It is designed to soothe and beautify the area, especially after a bikini wax goes wrong.
San Francisco Stript Wax Bar owner, Katherine Goldman says that there’s a demand for vajacials and it has increased 30% each year since she started offering it in 2010. The 50-minute procedure involves a papaya enzyme mask, a cleanse and an extraction of ingrown hairs using a pair of tweezers. At the Stript Bar, customers can chose from an anti-freckle to anti-acne treatments, and even calming treatments to reduce redness.
Well, now that we know that we’ll have to option to give our ‘peach’ silky smooth skin, we’ll start looking into D.I.Y. home remedies.
