As part of its on-going nationwide campaign, The MILO Breakfast Movement, Malaysia’s leading nutritious beverage launched the Malaysia Breakfast Day, calling upon all Malaysians to join in a mass pledge of adopting the breakfast habit for a healthier and balanced lifestyle.
Since its beginning, The MILO Breakfast Movement has brought Malaysians closer to stronger understanding of breakfast importance through numerous behavioral change-driven engagements through various platforms.
According to Executive Director of Dairy Business Unit, Nestle Products Sdn. Bhd., Ho Hau Chieh: “Malaysia Breakfast Day is going to be the biggest breakfast event of the year and a climax to the series of initiatives carried throughout The MILO Breakfast Movement. The response received from the 2012 MILO Nutrition Movement campaign has been phenomenal as more and more Malaysians begun to take action and joined us in our rally in reinforcing the breakfast message”.
As the leader in the chocolate malt beverage category, Ho believes that its their responsibility to not only inform Malaysians abut the right nutrition to start their day right, but to encourage actions towards cause. “MILO provides the right energy for Malaysians to take on their day and start the day right. Furthermore, MILO will also lead a record-breaking attempt in the Guinness World Book of Records in serving “The most Chocolate Malt Beverages consumers in a Single Breakfast Sitting”.
Malaysia Breakfast Day will take place on 5th May at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and is open to public with free admission.
