So what happens when food meets fashion? Of course, we are going to see loads of delicious looking fashion pieces that make us feel confused on whether should we just wear it or just look at it while drooling.
But now, we are adding the ice cream cone shoes into our list of must-have as the creative director of Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld has recently debuted his latest collaboration ‘Kollection’ with the queen of jelly shoes, Melissa. The Brazilian footwear brand Melisa has previously collaborated with other well-known fashion designers including Jason Wu, Vivienne Westwood, Gareth Pugh and so on.
Lagerfeld who designed the bubblegum-scented shoes said he was inspired by “the native country of the brand, celebrating the Brazilian joie de vivre.” Besides the usual mary jane shoes and sandals, the ice cream cone heels made of recyclable plastic is one of the most notable design in the collection.
The British supermodel and the, Cara Delevingne was featured in the video making of ‘Kollection’ as well. Check out the full making video here as well as the shoes collection at Melissa’s site:
