The most accomplished, dedicated and determined businesswomen in Asia will be recognised on the morning of March 28th during the WIL Achievement Awards at the The Royale Chulan Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

Taking place on the first morning of the 3rd Annual WIL Forum Asia, award categories include: Leading Businesswoman of the Year; Most Innovative Entrepreneur of the Year; Leading Woman in Public Sector; Male Champion of Change and Most Women-Friendly Employer.

Continuing the government’s support to Malaysia’s Vision 2020 of achieving self-sufficient industrialisation — including increasing the number of Asian women in the workforce, the two-day initiative is held under the patronage of HE Datin Paduka Seri Rosmah Mansor, Wife of the Prime Minister of Malaysia, who is officially opening the forum with a keynote address.

Organised by French information company naseba, this year’s edition is hosting up to 250 businesswomen and industry leaders, and is highlighting key strategies for new growth models, sustainable policies to encourage thought leadership, and strategies to develop the future of business in Asia.

It also provides local and global organisations with the ultimate opportunity to showcase their diversity and inclusion initiatives to an elite target audience of Asia’s most prominent and successful business leaders.

Dato’ Sri Dr Ng Yen Yen, Minister of Tourism of Malaysia; Remedios I Rikken, Chairperson of the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW), Victoria Martin, AIG and Shinta Widjaja Kamdani, Managing Director of Sintesa Group (Indonesia) are among the international speakers during the two days.

Sophie Le Ray, Founder of the WIL Series and naseba CEO commented: “Through the WIL Forum and Achievement Awards, we want to recognise the most dynamic business leaders in emerging markets and help them gain support for their professional independence.”
