Eva Longoria is expecting her first child with 49-year-old husband José Antonio ‘Pepe’ Bastón, who is the president of Televisa, the largest media company in Latin America.
Her rep confirms that the former Desperate Housewives star, 42, is four months along with a son. Meanwhile, Pepe Bastón is already a parent to three children — 22-year-old daughter Natalia and 14-year-old twins Mariana and Jose — with ex-wife Natalia Esperón.
When Eva Longoria first met her husband, she let him walk right by. “I had no memory of meeting him the first time, but we had immediate sparks,” said the starlet.
Six months later, the pair met again and went on a four-hour lunch date the very next day. “He was the most handsome man I’d ever seen. He was so charismatic, charming, sweet and funny. I thought, ‘Who is this guy?!’”
After three years and five months of dating, the couple got engaged in Dubai in December 2015, and were married in May 2016 under a stunningly lit altar in Mexico.
The star-studded party saw A-listers such as Victoria Beckham, Penélope Cruz, Ricky Martin, Katy Perry and Mario Lopez — it even included a fireworks display.
The actress who had previously been married twice, revealed that, “I never thought I would get married again. It’s him, he makes it all worth it.”
The actress continued, “He is probably one of the first men I’ve dated that has been older and established and, basically, a grown-up. It is so nice to be arm-in-arm with someone who is your equal.”
