ADAMAS School of Weddings; the only licensed institution that offers Malaysia’s first government-recognized wedding planning and events management courses, recently unveiled its inaugural Graduate Training & Internship programme. It was launched by YB Datuk Ir Dr Wee Ka Siong, Deputy Minister of Education I Malaysia at the Ritz Carlton Kuala Lumpur.

Speaking at the launch of the ADAMAS graduate training and internship programme, Founder, Dr Khoo Kien Ling, said, “The ADAMAS Graduate Training & Internship programme was borne of the desire to create competent industry-ready certified wedding planning specialists. The programme teaches practical business and life skills coupled with a choice of concentration in either of three main areas namely Business & Management, Art & Design and Education & Languages, in order to harness the unique talents and inclinations of the individual.

Students of the programme are stationed at the Kota Damansara franchise concept outlet, House of Ethereal Weddings and assist in the day-to-day tasks and responsibilities of running a wedding management outlet.

The ADAMAS graduate training and internship programme is not exclusive to ADAMAS graduates. Students from other vocational schools, colleges and universities interested in gaining hands-on experience and practical skills in the wedding planning and events management industry are also welcome to apply for the training programme.

The launch of the ADAMAS graduate training and internship programme was held in conjunction with ADAMAS’ 3rd graduation ceremony, which saw 35 graduants receive their Weddings Beautiful Malaysia and Singapore certificates.
