Her Majesty, the Queen of England was admitted into King Edward VII Hospital in London as she is being assessed for symptoms of gastroenteritis.
She was driven to the hospital, and according to her spokesman, the monarch is in good spirits, despite the symptoms. “She was not taken into hospital immediately after feeling the symptoms. This is impel to enable doctors to better assess her.”
BBC’s royal correspondent, Peter Hunt says the Queen will remain in hospital under observation for about two days. She was last admitted in hospital about 10 years ago for a minor knee operation.
“As a precaution, all official engagement for this week will regrettably be either postponed or cancelled”.
British Prime Minister, David Camera also sent his best wishes to the Queen, stating “I hope she makes a speedy recovery.”
We’re also sending our best wishes to the Queen Elizabeth II, as well.
