If you enjoy quiz and trivia lovers can no look forward to a stimulating coffee break as San Francisco Coffee teams up with one of the leading factual entertainment channel, HISTORY for Ultimate History Quiz (UHQ) this February.
Starting from 25 February 25 to March 31 2013, quiz lovers can play the Ultimate History Quiz Asia – San Francisco Coffee League (SF League) online, or download the game application on iOS and Android platform for free. Players with the highest score for each week will walk away with attractive prizes worth RM1,000, including three months worth of complimentary coffee from San Francisco Coffee plus a lifestyle pack from HISTORY which consists of an iPod shuffle, a X-mini speaker and a travel adaptor set.
The Ultimate History Quiz Asia: SF League will also be accompanied by a campaign on Astro Radio’s MixFM, which will feature UHQ questions in its popular “Battle of the Sexes” contest segment. The competition, which is part of the station’s breakfast show, pits the men (captained by host JD) against the ladies (captained by host Dilly) for an entire month; at the end of which the losing team would have to undergo a “punishment” – in this case, serving coffee to customers at one of the SF’s outlets. MixFm’s hosts JD, Dilly and Ezra will also be trying their hand at the league throughout the month and listeners will be able to keep updated on their progress through their Facebook pages.
At the end of the campaign, the top five players with the highest accumulated scores overall will be invited to form a team of three to battle it off for big prizes at the grand finale which include iPad minis, and year’s supply of coffee and more. This event, which will take place in April 2013, will feature 5 celebrity teams who will play along for charity. The teams, which will include the likes of JD, Dilly and Ezra from MixFM will pay to win a cash donation of RM5,000 for a charity organization of their choice.
