The rumors spread like wildfire last year when Google announced their Project Glass, a pair of computerized spectacles that allows people to explore and share the world through glasses.

The wait is over as Google released a video of their latest Project Glass showcasing the features of Google Glasses, a head-mounted glass with video display and hands-free camera recorder.

The Google Glass features include a planned user interface, video recording, picture taking and more. Besides that, it also features voice control interface for the Google applications such as Google Translates, Google Maps and so on.  The Google Glass also sends your transcribed spoken words into text messages. The device is activated when users say the catch phrase, “OK Glass.”

The company is currently seeking creative and innovative people to try on these glasses and shape the product with their ‘Google Explorers’ program. The applicants must use the hastag #ifihadglass on Twitter and describe how they’d use Glass in 50 words or less. However, the ultimate Google Glass experience is only for people living in US. Plus, the Explorers will need to pre-order the glasses for $1500 (around RM4500) and attend a special pick-up experience in New York, San Francisco or Los Angeles.

Anyway, here’s a video to show you how it feels to wear Google Glass!
