Raising The Bar Festival 2013 brought together independent Hip Hop in Malaysia.
Organized by Raising The Bar and presented by Homegrown Productions and Tune Talk, the festival brings together not only the ever-growing local hip hop community together but also festival-savvy and music fans alike.
Keeping true to what Raising The Bar has always stood for since its creation in 2010, RTB Fest had a special focus on Malaysian hip hop acts to highlight our very own homegrown talents with supporting acts from South East Asean regions and international acts.
Besides live performances and DJ sets, there was also a mini streetwear bazaar showcasing some of Malaysia’s up-and-coming streetwear labels, hip hop talks/workshops, community collaborations and a hip hop archive exhibit.
The performers included K-Town Clan, Kartel, The Rebel Scum, Tactmatic, Caprice and many more. The most anticipated show was ofcourse, the Teh Tarik Crew who were back after years for a quick on-stage reunion and it was a performance not to be ever be forgotten.
