Q: How does this collection help provide an instant lift?
A: As a makeup artist I’ve witnessed over and over again that makeup can have the same (or better) effect on a woman’s face as a face lift. Q: Do you have any other tips on how to look and feel good this new year?
A: Staying hydrated is essential for fresh, glowing skin, so try to drink at least eight glasses of water a day. Try adding fresh lemon juice and a pinch of sea salt to each glass (this is a great tip I learned from one of my favorite health gurus). And, what’s good for your body is good for your skin. Choose dark leafy greens, fruits, whole grains and lean proteins like chicken, fish and beans. When a snack craving strikes, try dark chocolate and almonds—they’re loaded with antioxidants and are good for you in moderation. Last but not least, exercise doesn’t just build muscle and help you stay fit— it lifts your mood, helps you sleep better, reduces stress and improves your circulation. And all of that makes for a healthier-looking complexion.
